1. WritingAssistant marked an error in a sentence that I do not think is incorrect, or it did not mark an incorrect sentence.

2. What is the My Dictionary tool?

This tool enables you to add words that you don’t want to be flagged as errors. For example, if you use an industry specific word that is not very common, then you can put this word in My Dictionary, and it will not be flagged as an error in the future.
To view, update, or remove the word from your dictionary, click "Go to My Dictionary" from the pop up menu under the “My Dictionary” icon or from the dashboard drop down menu on the left-hand side of the browser.

3. Can I translate specific words in other languages?

Yes, in our Translate tool, you can translate specific words in over 20 languages. You can get to the translate tool by clicking on the translate icon on the right-hand side or from the drop down menu on the left-hand side under “Translate”.

4. How do I mark what specific aspects of my writing I want WA to focus on?

Click “My Settings” from the drop down menu on the left-hand side or the settings icon on the right-hand side to control your general and error settings.

5. How do I view my saved documents?

Click the document icon in the top middle of the page to view all of your saved documents.

1. Is there a limit on how many documents I can have stored in the web application?

There is no limit to how many documents you can save.

2. Is there a word limit?

WA can process texts up to 17,000 words.

3. Which are the most compatible browsers for the WritingAssistant application?

The most compatible web browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

4. How do I log out of the WritingAssistant application?

Click on the log out symbol on the top right corner of the application.

1. Why is the WritingAssistant web application not loading properly?

Check your network connection. If there are no issues with the network connection, press Ctrl + F5. Clear your web browser’s cache, cookies and history.
